“We must do more to engage, inspire and mobilise youth -- a formidable force for the achievement of a sustainable future of harmony between people and nature.”
- Marco Lambertini. Director General, WWF International.
CONNECT WITH NATURE
Biodiversity, and their habitats, is the key to all aspects of human society; our food, our energy and our shelter. Yet human actions have put an incredible strain on biodiversity and, with ever more news about biodiversity concerns, one can feel quite powerless to intervene to try and put things right.
Regardless of who you are, where you are from and what you do for a living, you can still be informed, be engaged and be part of the solution.
Connect With Nature offers activities, training and knowledge from various sources in Hong Kong so that you can learn and contribute in any capacity.
About WWF Hong Kong
WWF-Hong Kong was founded in 1981 and is an integral part of WWF’s global network. Work began with managing Mai Po Nature Reserve and conserving iconic species. Over the years, we have expanded and adjusted our mission to better serve Hong Kong’s conservation and education needs and align ourselves with WWF’s global strategy.
You don’t have to be an environmentalist to support the work we do. You just need to believe that the Earth is our one and only home and that we have a duty to care for this planet. If you agree to make some changes in your daily life, then you will help create a brighter future for all of us.
Together, it is possible to build a future where people live in harmony with nature.
